Morning Eye Candy: Christopher Boffoli's Tiny Foodscapes

Spotting these macro foodscapes with their tiny unwitting residents over on My Modern Met made laugh out loud with delight. The images have since gone viral, but just in case you haven't seen them yet, it's totally worth taking five minutes this morning to check them out.

These miniature worlds are the work of Seattle-based photographer Christopher Boffoli. In an interview on My Met Life, Boffoli says that he played with scale models as a kid and has always been fascinated by discrepancies of size. Food came into the mix because he felt it was an accessible, and beautiful, subject for most people.

I'd definitely say he hit it spot on! Wouldn't you?
